Helping People, Building Dreams
Our Mission
"The mission of Universal Housing Development Corporation is to promote adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity and a suitable living environment, free from discrimination."

Our Vision
Continue – Create – Collaborate!

Maintaining the drive toward excellence in the future means that we must continue the programs that have brought us success in the past, create new solutions to age-old problems, and collaborate effectively with existing partners while looking for ways to build relationships with new ones.

We have become one of the premier agencies in Arkansas for housing and housing-related needs, but the problem of finding decent, affordable housing still exists for many of the people living in our area. Whether it is finding a way to save a home from foreclosure, helping aging homeowners address their changing needs, or working with a young family in building their first home, we will have to be ready to find creative solutions to new challenges.

At UHDC, we see ourselves becoming a powerful agent for positive change, not only in creating wealth through homeownership, but in strengthening the overall capacity of our clients. To do this we will need to continue to diversify our sources of program funding and be ready to widen the variety of services offered. By working with the partners we already have and reaching out to new ones, we can be ready to take advantage of opportunities that may open up in the future of housing so that in every way possible, we make decent, affordable housing a reality for the people we serve.
