Have you ever had a question and didn’t know where to find the answer? If so, you’ve come to the right place. This section is a compilation of answers to the questions most commonly asked by our constituents. Just start by following one of the links below.
If you can’t find the question you wanted to ask, don’t hesitate to contact us.
- What does your organization do?
- How do I know if I'm eligible?
- Is there a waiting list?
- How can I get involved?
- If I were to donate funds, how is my money used?
Our organization provides a variety of housing-related services. For a list of specific programs and services we provide, visit our What We Do section.
Each program or service has different eligibility requirements and these may change based on the requirements of the agency supplying funds for the program. Sometimes we can determine eligibility based on income, but often the only way to know for sure is to contact UHDC and apply for the program you are interested in.
Some programs have a long waiting list; other programs do not have a waiting list at all. How fast the waiting list moves also varies with each program. The best approach is to apply for a program you are interested in so that you can start moving up the list (if there is one) as soon as possible.
We’re always on the lookout for individuals like you wanting to get involved. Visit our What You Can Do section to find out ways to donate or volunteer.
We have a responsibility to our community and our donors and work hard to ensure long-term sustainability of the organization. We make our IRS Form 990 available for review, as required by law. Visit our Financials page to learn more.
